Jackson went fishing with Uncle Luke and Aunt Savanna along with his Poppa and Gigi Memorial Day. Gigi took some cute pics and wanted to share them here. He was so excited to tell me all about the fish Luke caught. He loves being them and now loves to go fishing. No tellin how much we will hear about it once he catches a big fish! So Sunday we got back in from our family vacation to Orange Beach. I can honestly say that we had a blast and didn't want to come home yet. I could've easily spent another week there for sure. I'm not done going through all the pics I took...Josh is laughin at me because I took over 1,000 but I don't like to miss anything plus I like to have options once I get back. We went with Me-Me and Mamaw Nellie. It is so wonderful to have both sides of our family together and we feel very special that our fams are able to do this. I wanted to post a few pics and will have more pics and details in the next fews days.
This past weekend was the finale to your first tball season. You had a game Friday night and Saturday and then had your end of the season party at Chuck E Cheese. You loved getting your trophy and playing with all your friends. In fact you got several of the boys numbers so we can do some play dates this summer. You are really getting into making friends and talking about them. Here are some of my favorite pics over this past week. Your sisters love to watch you play and Mommy does too. You are sad that your season is over and have already asked if you will get to be on the same team again next year. You are super pumped about the beach. We leave in a few days and can't wait!!! Mamaw and Meme are going with us too! We have been loving our blow up water slide in the backyard. Hours and hours of fun is an understatement. Also we have already been to Wild River Country four times. Your hair is getting so blonde and your little tan lines are already making their mark of fun in the sun. Mommy is enjoying are time all together. One of the many reasons I know summer will always be special to me.
Jackson I have to say it is amazing already for me to watch you play ball. You are so into it and we can't believe what a natural you are. You are focused and love to make outs and hit. You do these little celebration dances each time you do one of these things and it is precious. You also like to slide and get dirty. Typical boy stuff! Just about everyday when you know it is close for Daddy to be getting off work you get all your baseball stuff set up in the yard and wait for him on the front porch with your glove and baseball. How many more minutes is a common question around here. Here are some pics of you doing what you love to do most.
Jackson Ryan Charles was born August 30, 2004, next came Bailey Grace on May 31, 2006, and then there was Brooklyn Annelise on March 10, 2008. All three are 21 months apart. There is never a dull moment. We created this blog to journal all the events that take place in their life.
